StrapHabit Watch Bracelet Tool
A new premium option has dropped
These days, quick-release spring bars are fairly common, and they make changing out straps quite a simple thing. However, there are plenty of the original style spring bars out there, and those can be tricky - particularly with bracelets - to remove or reinstall. The StrapHabit Watch Bracelet Tool looks to help out there.

StrapHabit Watch Bracelet Tool: what it is
Frankly, it’s a clever little tool, designed to help make your life simpler. To start with, you’ve got a knob on the side to get your lug width dialed in, from 15mm to 27mm. Then, it’s spring loaded. So, you can use the bladed side to get in there, squeeze, and compress both ends of the spring bar at once. This should allow for an easy removal.
When it’s time to re-install, you use the squared off side of the tool. This allows you to compress the spring bar into the end link, which should then be able to easily slide into the lugs, and get the bracelet locked back into place.

Wrapping things up
While this is primarily aimed at watch bracelets, you might be able to put this to work on leather/textile straps that have standard spring bars as well. There’s no word on the material used to build the tool, but our guess its that it’s aluminum (to keep it light in your hands) with a PVD coating. If you’d like to get this added to your watch toolbox, you can pick one up for $89 directly from straphabit.com
