Perrelet Embraces Its Risqué Side with Limited Edition Turbine Erotic Watches
Hentai under the turbine makes things a little weird.
Perrelet, one of the oldest names in watchmaking, has returned to one of horology’s more taboo traditions: the erotic watch. The brand’s latest release, the Turbine Erotic collection, brings a manga-inspired twist to this centuries-old theme, blending technical innovation with suggestive visual storytelling.
Each of the four new models features a hentai-style illustration (you can see the images here(1,2,3,4)… NSFW obviously) hidden beneath Perrelet’s signature turbine dial. As the blades spin with the movement of the wrist, the risqué artwork is revealed—if only briefly. It’s a clever use of the brand’s patented Turbine tech, introduced in 2009, and a knowing nod to a watchmaking practice that dates back to the 17th century, when artisans first began hiding erotic scenes inside mechanical timepieces.
On the surface, the new Turbine Erotic watches give nothing away. The 41mm case, drawn from the Turbine EVO design, is made from DLC-coated grade 2 titanium and mounted on a black rubber strap. The black-on-black aesthetic is clean and sharp, with fluted sides, a flat bezel, and the signature triple lugs. The dial features 12 black anodized aluminium blades balanced by tungsten counterweights, which respond to wrist motion. Underneath lies the real subject: grayscale illustrations with flashes of red, slowly revealed as the turbine spins.
Behind the theatrics is a serious movement. Perrelet has equipped the new series with the P-331-MH automatic caliber, manufactured by SOPROD and COSC-certified for accuracy. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through a sapphire caseback and features rhodium-plated components and a custom rotor. The watches are also Chronofiable® certified, ensuring long-term reliability.
Only 99 pieces of each reference will be made, and they ship in custom boxes starting June 19, 2025. Buyers in Europe and the U.S. can purchase directly through Perrelet’s website or from authorized retailers.
Whether you see it as art, satire, or pure indulgence, the Turbine Erotic is a rare example of a brand willing to lean into one of horology’s more provocative subgenres—openly, unapologetically, and with style.
