Since it was first introduced in 2022, new variants quickly followed. So, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that they’ve continued to iterate on it, and give us fresh looks. One that seems particularly fit to a summer aesthetic is the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic: ready for summer.

Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic: what it is

Unlike other brands that sort of obfuscate what the watch is about with the model name, the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic makes it very, very clear. You’ve got a Defy Skyline, which means you’ve got that high beat-rate El Primero movement inside. The ‘skeleton’ part of the name means the dial is cut out, giving you a great view of the movement. Then, finally, the ‘white ceramic’ tells us that this is the first time the Skyline shows up with a white ceramic case and bracelet (as well as a secondary white rubber strap).

The color scheme

That’s a whole lot of white. If they had opted for keeping the stuff inside of the crystals metallic, that would have made for a watch difficult to read. Smartly, they’ve gone with a rich blue that adds a pop of color, as well as providing a contrast for the handset and indices to be visible against.

Wrapping things up

It definitely makes for a uniquely summery look, and we have a suspicion it’ll still look sharp in the depths of winter. If you want to get one for your next summer gathering, you’re looking at a price tag of $17,500. Along with authorized retailers, you should be able to find this at a Zenith store, as well as zenith-watches.com
