When it comes to titans of Swiss watch making, Audemars Piguet is certainly at the top of most people’s lists.  Within the AP landscape, the Royal Oak is iconic and instantly recognizable.  In today’s edition of the Watch Video Rewind, we have a video of that very watch being made – the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.

In the video, we see things go from a sketch, to the cutting of carbon fiber to create the case, on through the creation of some components and then, of course wrapping things up with the final assembly and a variety of quality checks.  Somehow, I just never get tired of watching these sorts of videos.  I especially liked the wooden “screwdriver” used for getting the caseback screws set in place.  If you’ve got your own favorite, feel free to let us know.
