For the last few years, the Tissot PRX has definitely been a popular design. It hit at just the right time for when integrated bracelet designs were picking up, and it’s been a solid option since. The one thing it hasn’t been great for is a smaller wrist. That’s rectified now with the release of the Tissot PRX 25mm.

Tissot PRX 25mm: what it is

That’s a fairly easy thing to answer. The Tissot PRX 25mm is the Tissot PRX design that you know and love, just shrunk down from it’s usual 40mm (or 35mm) case size. You’ve still got that tonneau case with the integrated lug configuration, a raised bezel surrounding the sapphire crystal, and the clean baton handset. What’s different, of course, is that smaller case size. When we get into dimensions like this, it should be no surprise that we’re talking about a quartz movement here.

What versions are there?

There are five different versions of the Tissot PRX 25mm. There are three that are all silver-tone, and you can get that in a blue, black, or mother-of-pearl dial. If you want a little more color, there’s a mother-of-pearl-dial with a rose gold-tone bezel (against the steel), with the gold tone extending to the indices and handset. And if you want a lot of color, there’s one that they’re calling a “nude” color.

This one has the earth-tone dial, with the color carrying into the carnation gold-tone bezel and bracelet. What’s carnation gold? We’re not sure, as it’s the first we’ve heard the term, but it seems akin to rose gold. Oh, and one thing to note – the black and nude dials have diamonds used for the indices.

Wrapping things up

As you might surmise, between the different finishes, dial materials, and some diamonds, pricing across these five new models has a bit of a range. The most affordable Tissot PRX 25mm comes in at $315 (silver tone with the blue dial), and the range tops out at $515 for the carnation gold version with it’s diamond-set dial.
