Timex is no stranger to collaborations, and this time around, it’s the Timex Navi getting another special version. For this, they’ve teamed up with Ann Arbor, MI-based Ghostly International to bring the Timex x Ghostly Navi into the world.
Timex x Ghostly Navi: what’s different?
For starters, this is coming in with a 38mm case, as compared to the 41mm case that the more common Navi XL models have leveraged. Past that, you of course have the Ghostly logo showing up there at 12 o’clock, and then some touches of purple – a signature of Ghostly – showing up. You’ll notice this with Ann Arbor (on the bezel), and then at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock indices.
What’s the same?
You’re going to have the legendary reliability, accuracy, and build quality that we’ve come to expect from Timex. As the specs don’t call out a mechanical, we also believe that this should be a quartz watch, again keeping you on time without any fuss.
How to use that city bezel
While the Timex x Ghostly Navi is not a GMT watch, you can still use it to figure out what time it is around the world. The simplest way is to align your current city (or one in your time zone) to the hour hand. Then, find the city you want to know the time in, and see what hour it’s by. The other option you have is to just figure out the difference between your city and the one in question (count the steps), and then do the math in your mind to determine it.
Wrapping things up
The Timex x Ghostly Navi is available as of today for $179. You can check out the full range of Navi watches (prior ones look to be all sold out) as well as this new one directly over at timex.com
