Introducing the Mr Jones King and Queen

Patrick Kansa By Patrick Kansa

I have to say, Mr Jones has really been stepping up their game. They have had some interesting and quirky designs in the past, and their jump-hour equipped Chatterbox brought another level to things with the printing they were able to do on the underside of the crystal. They learned some good lessons there, it seems, as the same sort of treatment (albeit with a bit of a twist) shows up in the Mr Jones King and Queen.

Hands Off With the Mr Jones Chatterbox

Patrick Kansa By Patrick Kansa

Yes, that’s right – we have gone “hands off” with our review of the Mr Jones Chatterbox. Well, sure, we have spent time with it, so we have truly gone hands on. But the watch itself, you see, does not have any hands. Then again, since you read our earlier writeup you already knew that. Maybe a better appellation would be hands free. Not that there is any tech involved here, bluetooth or otherwise, just a simple automatic movement with some rather clever art. Ok, that is about enough of my rambling around, let’s get on with the review of the Mr Jones Chatterbox.

The September 2015 Giveaway: Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto

Matt Himmelstein By Matt Himmelstein

It is the start of a new month, which means it is time for the September 2015 giveaway, a Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto. I did a quick review of the limited edition, and then the brand sent me the version that is in the permanent collection for a hands on review. If you are a fan of the various Mario Brothers video games, or just like whimsical watches, this would be a watch for you.

Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto, Hands on Fun

A while back I took a look at the Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto, which was a limited edition watch to honor the creator of the Super Mario games. At that point, we had covered more than a few Mr Jones Watches, but neither Patrick nor myself had been able to check out one in person. Well, a few emails later, a Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto, now part of the regular collection, was on its way for me to check out. The bottom line: it is fun, well finished, and colorful.

Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto, Have a Fun 24 Hours

Anyone who thinks that watches for adults have to be boring has never browsed the Mr Jones Watches web site. We cover them here from time to time because they are design driven watch company that puts out products you are not going to find on your cubicle neighbor’s wrist (probably). The Mr Jones Watches Sun and Moon Miyamoto pays homage to the man behind the Nintendo Super Mario games, as well as the games themselves.
