It is the weekend once again, so it is time for our weekly feature, Watching the Web, where take a spin about the World Wide Web to look at some interesting watches or watch related news that we have found this week. We also get a chance to highlight a few of our own articles that have been popular over the previous week (or so). For this week’s roundup, I thought Wound For Life’s essay on Shinola was interesting, and I found a watch related way to honor the LA King’s capturing of Lord Stanley’s Cup. From our own pages, we have two looks at the Lew & Huey Legends Racer and the second project from Helgray, the Silverstone Chronograph.

Welcome back to our weekly installment, where we have a quick look at some interesting watches and articles that have popped up over the last week, as well as taking a second look at what some of our more popular articles this week were. After those, we’ll highlight (as usual) some of our more popular posts from the last week. Read on to see what we’ve got in store for you.
Being an American, and a (safe to say) “watch guy”, I can’t help but to take notice of writings that I come across that discuss the history of watchmaking in America, or the upswell of new American brands that we’re seeing these days. Once upon a time, America was on top of the watchmaking heap – could they get there again?

Today, we’ll touch on the watch flood known as BaselWorld first thing. Then, we’ve got some history on a brand that has come on strong in the past year, as well as a wrist watch that actually has a functional hourglass in it. After those, we’ll highlight (as usual) some of our more popular posts from the last week. Read on to see what we’ve got in store for you.

Welcome back to our weekly installment where we take a look at some popular items from across the web from the week, as well as from our own pages. This week, we’re looking at articles that cover some news from SIHH (which concluded earlier in the week), and second look at a watch we ourselves reviewed, and then a handful of popular reviews from our own pages.
