Last year, we brought you word of the Black Shamrock watch from Nomadic (you can see that here). Fittingly, the Irish brand is coming back around with some more limited editions for this March (you know, when St. Patrick’s day is celebrated). Instead of one model, we’ve got three models getting the LE treatment.
Nomadic Watches Black Shamrock: what watches?
Last year, it was just one model that sold out in a blink. This time around, we’ve got three different models that are getting the limited-edition attention:
- Nomadic Marai 401 (review of the non-LE version)
- Nomadic Fior 555 (article on a non-LE version)
- Nomadic Cior 928 (article on a non-LE version)
What’s different about them?
At their heart, the watches are the same ones we’ve written about (just check those links above). However, that doesn’t make for a special edition, does it? For the Marai 401 and Fior 555, there’s a black shamrock that appears on the rotor, visible through the caseback. On the Cior 928, the shamrock is printed on the solid rotor. All three watches also feature a harp-shaped icon (at 12 o’clock) as a tribute to the shipyard cranes of Belfast’s skyline. Finally, there’s a healthy dose of green. The Cior has a green dial, while the Marai and Fior have green on their bezels.
How to get yours
Getting one of these Nomadic Watches Black Shamrock editions is where things get a little interesting. At 7pm GMT each day of March, a single piece from each model will be put up for sale at Nomadic. Once March wraps up, that means 93 of these will have been made available. Additionally, two pieces will be showing up at British Watchmakers’ Day. Finally, if you find yourself in Belfast on March 17th, you can go to their boutique at 10 am, where 17 pieces will be made available.
