When you get into something – be it art, cars, or watches – you tend to gravitate towards certain things. Perhaps it?s a certain style, or a certain make. While I wouldn?t narrow things down to the point where I?d say I have a favorite watch company, I would definitely say that Sjoo Sandstrom is one of my favorites. They?re doing something interesting with their entry level model, creating the Sjoo Sandstrom Royal Steel Classic Annual Edition.
Or at least, that?s the plan. You see, Sjoo Sandstrom is planning to release a new version of the watch every year. This first time around, the Sjoo Sandstrom Royal Steel Classic Annual Edition features a forest green dial (a color I?ve not seen from the brand before), and with a casebook engraved to denote it as the 2019 model. Why an 86 piece limited-edition? You see, the brand started up in 1986, so it?s a very literal nod to the roots of the brand and the watches they?re creating. Of course, you?ll also be guaranteeing that you?re unlikely to see your exact watch out in the wild.
