With H. Moser, we’ve become accustomed to very clean – almost sterile – looks to their designs, particularly within the Streamliner collection. But we also know that Moser likes to build out challenging complications like a tourbillon. So, how do you raise the bar? You build in a repeater complication, which is exactly what the H. Moser Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon does.

What makes the Moser Streamliner Concept special

At this point, we’re familiar with the Streamliner design with the slick integrated bracelet, and even how they handle tourbillons. What makes this watch stand out is the minute repeater. Rather than hiding the hammers away on the reverse of the case, you can see them right on the dial. This means that you can see them in action as you hear the chimes sound out, with different patterns for the hour, quarter-hour, and minutes. In other words, you can tell the time without even looking at the dial.

That dial though

Why you wouldn’t want to look at the dial of the Moser Streamliner Concept, we don’t know. Moser always does something special with their dials, and this one is no different. There’s an engraved gold base over which four hues of crushed pigments are layered on, and then fired 12 times to give the ombre look to the Grand Feu enamel. It’s a special dial to go with a very special watch.

You want to get it for yourself?

Well, you, my friend, have some exquisite taste. That taste comes with a commensurate price tag as well. For this, you’ll be handing over $296,000, which makes this definitely not an impulse buy. We just hope that whoever purchases this watch doesn’t consign it to life in a safe. If that’s you, you can put your name in on the list to potentially reserve the watch over at h-moser.com
