If a brand calls their watch “Business Edition” does that mean that they’re open for business? That they’re getting down to business? That it’s business in the front, and party in the back? You know, I’m not entirely certain, and hey, since the brand isn’t making the jokes, I thought I’d help them out. What brand? What watch? Why, the Bodor Business Edition, of course.
As you might surmise from the name, the Bodor Business Edition is a watch that is aimed at those looking for something that looks appropriate at the office. Sure, a smart watch or giant running watch might get the job done (telling you the time), but if you’re in a meeting with the higher ups, sometimes the classic looks are the better way to go. In that case, a clean steel case with a black strap and black dial is what the fashion doctor is ordering. You know, the classic dress watch styling.
The Bodor Business Edition does mix things up a bit. The indices look to be a healthy chunk of polished steel applied to the sunray dial, with the sword-style handset also taking the wider look of the indices (and the polishing). These are all spinning over that black dial, into which you’ve got a black date disc set – kudos to this new brand on getting that detail sorted. Should your office run a touch more casual, then something like the blue dial on the brown strap may be the better route to go.
Or, you know, mix-and-match. With the campaign rolling along, you can put together the combo you want of your Bodor Business Edition. Pick between the black dial or the blue dial, and either the brown or black strap. There’s even a fifth option, the all-black, which looks to be a glossier PVD application. Pricing for any of the five starts at just under $400. The campaign runs until October 5th (delivery is anticipated in April 2020) and stands at about 32% funded as of writing.
