Franck Muller is not a brand that we’ve really covered here at WWR, but I’m seeing that changing. Why is that? Because they’ve got some really fun watches in their catalog. One of the more recent ones that caught our eye is the Franck Muller Vanguard Slim Night Cut.

Franck Muller Vanguard Slim Night Cut: what it is

The Franck Muller Vanguard Slim Night Cut is an iteration, or evolution, of their Vanguard Slim collection. This houses a new ulta-slim automatic movement that Franck Muller is building in-house. This allows the case to be shrunk a bit, while still keeping things very legible.

And all that lume!

Let’s be honest – it’s that glowing photo at the top of the article that caught our eyes. Not only are those large numerals rendered in glowing outlines, you’ve got got a luminous stripe down the side of the case. This is accomplished by a cut being made in the titanium case, into which a SuperLuminova-infused material is inserted. While the watch looks sharp in the daylight, it truly shines when the lights go down.

Wrapping things up

Now, for the not-so-great news: unless you’re traveling to France soon, you won’t be able to get your hands on the watch. That’s because the 15 000 € watch is only available via Chronopassion. At least, the first 24 pieces of it. We’ll see if things hit a wider distribution in the future, but for now, France is where it’s at. chronopassion.com / franckmuller.com
