If you thought you missed out on the 50th anniversary edition of the Citizen Promaster Tsuno Chrono, you’re in luck because there’s a brand new limited edition that just released that refreshes the dial a bit.
Citizen Promaster Tsuno Chrono Racer: what it is
With chronograph watches, we’re much more accustomed to seeing the pushers flanking the crown on the right-hand side of the case. With a bullhead design, things are rotated 90 degrees. Then, the pushers make it look like the horns of a bull. It’s a unique look, and it makes the design stand out. It also makes it less likely that you’re going to depress a pusher just by moving your wrist around. You’ll also notice there’s another pusher (at 5 o’clock), and that’s used for adjusting the alarm.
How it’s powered
Inside the watch is the EcoDrive E210 movement, which is not just solar powered – it can draw electrons in from any light source. Once fully charged, it’ll give you an 8-month power reserve (indicated by the retrograde dial over at 9 o’clock). In terms of accuracy, without any time sync signals at all, the Citizen Promaster Tsuno Chrono will run at +/- 15 seconds per month, which is plenty accurate to keep you on time for your day.
Wrapping things up

This particular version, is a limited edition, with only 2500 of them being made available worldwide. You can get all of the details, and order your own for $1,195 directly from citizenwatch.com
