I find it hard to go wrong with a military, or military-inspired, watch. For starters, you have quite a breadth of designs to choose from, from pilot watches to divers to field watches. Should you be in the market for one yourself, a new collection just hit that is worth a gander – the Hemel Military watch collection.

When it comes to truly old school designs, I must admit that I am a fan of the regulator watch. While it was originally used for timing and setting other watches back in the day, I think that it still has a purpose these days. While there are scenarios where you might need to be mindful of the hour of the day, we generally have a good feel for that. With that setup, let’s have a look at the newly launched Tissot Le Locle Automatic Regulateur.

If you are in the market for a bronze watch these days, you are certainly spoiled for choice. It’s just that, at first glance, it really seems to playing up a higher-end look, with the bronze (and the bezel insert) giving things more of the look of a gold watch.
