I had mentioned in an earlier post that we are likely to see more sales and deals cropping up with the end of the year coming up. We had another come across the desk in the form of the Serket Reef Diver.

A grail watch, the thing that dreams are made of. We all have them, well out of our price range watches to aspire to… one day. Touch of Modern (a private, limited time sale site, free to join) is running couple of sales right now (various brands, Breitling) on several drool worthy watches, with prices reduced (at least for me) from the stratosphere to the mere upper atmosphere. Maybe, just maybe, a 60% or so price drop will entice someone to pull a trigger.

If you have read the site for a while, you should be aware of TokyoFlash Japan, a watch maker that specialized in… alternative displays built into digital watches. We have reviewed a number of their watches to date, and they just reached out to us for a launch deal on the new TokyoFlash Japan Kisai Kaidoku Wood. Through around 7:00 Pacific on July 30, you can get this watch for the introductory price of $109 (I don’t know what it goes up to after that).

This mornings, Touch of Modern (join here is you have not done so already) popped up four watches, three of which are former Kickstarter projects I have reviewed in the past. First up was a favorite I did not pull the trigger on, but am temped to do so now. The Cobre de Calibre is an automatic watch with a Miyota Calibre 9015, a textured ceramic dial and a sapphire crystal. The watch is on sale for $365 to $395, depending on the model, a little less that the Kickstarter campaign price. On offer are 5 models, including the no-date model and the red ricing stripe model. My take on the watches was posted here, and the sale page is here at ToM.
