Welcome to 2016, and thanks for taking the time out of your New Year’s Weekend to visit the first 2016 installment of our Saturday feature, Watching the Web. Here, we identify reviews and watch related posts on other sites that we think are of interest, and we point you to our most popular recent articles. From the larger blog-o-sphere, I will point you to a couple of different year in review posts at Worn & Wound, Hodinkee, and Total Watch. From our site, we have Patrick’s top 5 watches from 2015 and review of the Haldor Abissi and the Laco Spirit of St. Louis.

Here we are, at the very last Saturday of 2015. We like to run like clockwork, and even though the calendar is wrapping up, we will keep on trucking. That means it’s time for our weekly feature, Watching the Web, where we point you to interesting posts we find on other sites, as well as highlight our own popular articles. The week, from across the web, I have three different reviews of Longines, Frederique Constant, and Lum-Tec. From our own site, we’ve got two divers and a pilots watch that has some diving aspirations.

The week, from across the web, I have reviews of Nomos and Ressence watches, and a short round up of independent watchmakers. From our own site, seeing how this is the penultimate weekend of the year, I would highlight our most popular posts for the last 12 months.

It is hard to believe it is December already, but it is, so it is time to roll out our weekly edition of Watching the Web. For this week’s article, I have an ultra thin tourbillon, a new brand from one of the men behind Magrette, and a Damascas steel watch from GoS.
