Welcome once again (or just welcome if you are a first time reader) to our regular Saturday post, Watching the Web. Here, Patrick and I take turns scouring the internet for interesting watch related articles we can point you towards, and we get a chance to crow about our own more popular posts over the last week or so, just in case you missed them. For the external links this week, I wanted to point out a review of the Seiko Spirit SCVE003, an essay on not owning a Rolex, a review of a single hand MeisterSinger watch, and a little wrist time with the MB&F Legacy Machine 1. From here at Wrist Watch Review, the most popular articles were the Deep Blue Sun Diver 1K, the Torgoen Scorpion, and a look at a pair of EDC posts.
I am a fan of Touch of Modern, and have bought a number of items for myself and my house through the site, including a watch back before I started wring for WWR. The site, as I have mentioned here previously, is a members only sale site (join here if you are not a member) specializing in modern goods that skew toward a male audience. Sales are limited time, and frequently include watches. Right now, there are several watch deals on Touch of Modern, including Cobra de Calibre, Vintage Rolexes, and watches from Jean Marcel, Ballast, and Alessandro Baldieri.
Welcome back to our regular feature, the Watch Video Rewind. In this series, we bring to light watch related videos which we feel are interesting and worth sharing with our readers. This week, we have the first desk clock I’ve taken an interest in for some time, a run down of how you can spot a fake Rolex, and a look at the interface of the Apple Watch.
