Here at WWR, we’ve quickly become familiar with – and fans of – the gear that the crew over at Brunt Workwear are producing. While I like a good, solid pair of boots for a variety of purposes, not everyone is the same. Rivas Sneakers: what they are
They’re basically a pair of Brunt boots, just reimagined as sneakers. You’ve still got all of the protections you’d want in a tougher environment (anti-slip, electrical hazard rated, heat-resistant soles, and so on), just in the look – and construction, we presume – of your favorite pair of comfortable sneakers. These also feature a composite toe, so your toes will be protected if you drop something. Perhaps not for the jobsite that requires full steel-toe protection, but we’re guessing you already know the the rules for your worksite or factory.
Who are they named for?
A lot of products from Brunt carry a name on them, and that name is directly from the person who helped inspire the design of the item. These are the hard-working people that keep this country moving, and it’s a great nod in how Brunt honors them. The Rivas Sneakers are named for Luis Rivas, the fellow who runs the warehouse out east that ships out the Brunt products.

If you’re looking for something to keep your feet safe, but don’t want to go the boot route, then something like the Brunt Workwear Rivas could be a solid way to go.
