Well, not 60 years of the collaboration, nor is it a 60-year-old bottle of whiskey (that would be some advance planning). No, this is to mark the 60th anniversary of Accutron, and it just so happens that it’s the Accutron Spaceview Hudson Whiskey being sent to to mark the occasion.
Accutron Spaceview Hudson Whiskey: what it is
To be sure, the Accutron Spaceview Hudson Whiskey is the same Spaceview we’ve talked about before. This is a collab watch, and it’s also an anniversary watch, so you know something has to be different, right? Well, they’ve resisted the urge to incorporate wood from used Hudson barrels in the watch, if that’s what you’re looking for.
The big things that they’ve done here is rotating the movement 30 degrees, counter-clockwise, within the case. This shifts where you’re seeing the elements under the crystal, as well as repositioning the crown. Specifically to the distillery, they’ve included green and rose gold accents, and a bottle icon on the underside of the strap.

Accutron Spaceview Hudson Whiskey Tech Specs
MOVEMENT
Accutron’s Proprietary Electrostatic Movement. The electrostatic energy is created by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; a world’s first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands.
Power saving function: To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o’clock after 5 minutes of non activity. Your timepiece continues to keep time, the hour hand and the minute hand keep moving. When you would like to see the second hand’s motion, please swing arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. Once powered, the second hand gradually returns to the current second indication and the power save function is canceled.
WATCH DIAL
A blackout style open-work dial with metal dial rings contrast the white super luminous markers, hour and minute hands. The seconds hand and tuning fork at the 12 o’clock are rose-gold tone as a nod to the distillery’s equipment.
