At this point, I think many of us have had (and likely still have) a Casio watch of some sort in our watch collection. In fact, their digital watches are likely a first watch for many. Another icon of our childhood is the card game UNO – so it just makes sense to have a collaboration, resulting in the Casio UNO watch.

Casio Uno: what it is?

To be perfectly fair, the watch is actually the Casio UNO A168WEUC-1A. However, that’s not exactly a model number that rolls off the tongue. So, we’re just going to call it the Casio UNO. With that model number, you can tell that this started life as the iconic A168. Then, with UNO, that means we can get a healthy dose of color. Or at least four colors.

The UNO touches

That’s most obvious in the surround of the LCD display. You have the four classic UNO colors (red, blue, green, and yellow), as well as the rounded/pointed shape that is on the cards. Then, you have the UNO logo showing up on the base of the dial, which – set on black – looks like the back of the UNO card. You also get that logo showing up on the clasp of the bracelet, as well as in the EL backlight and on the caseback.

Wrapping things up

If you want to pick up the Casio UNO, be prepared for a stiff markup. While the original A168 can be yours today for just $30, the Casio UNO version comes in at $99.95. Get ready for that next family game night and order yours at casio.com
