The Oris Artelier Calibre 111 is an homage to the Orises (Orisii?) of old. The watch, which features a ten day power reserve and date window at 9 o’clock, is entirely manufactured by Oris in Holstein, Switzerland.
Oris has long been creating pieces that hearkened back to early watch designs and this one is no different. Aimed at a more luxury audience – it costs $5,700 in still – the piece proves that Oris doesn’t just make cheap mechanical divers. While the design may not be everyone’s cup of fine Swiss cheese whey, I could see this as a solid addition to Oris’ already impressive line-up of classics.
The watch will be available for sale this month.
