Hey, so you know how we like to bring you word of brands we (and, most likely, you) haven’t heard of before, right?  And you know how we like to hook you up with cool watches and accessories each month, yeah?  Well, today, we’re able to combine both of those things in one, with our newest giveaway for a Auguste Reymond Cotton Club Q Orbital Moon.

Well, technically, we’re giving away two of these watches (yeah, you heard us right).  The first winner will be chosen via our normal method (details down below), and then the second one will be the person who nets the most referrals for entrants to the contest (handled via our widget; again, details are down below).

Ok, now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about this watch.  It’s not one we’ve seen in person (but we will have one coming in so we can get the full review going for you as well).  From the photos, though, the Auguste Reymond Cotton Club Q Orbital Moon is a looker, as this video will show you:

As you can see, the Auguste Reymond Cotton Club Q Orbital Moon is very classically-styled dress watch (including the sometimes divisive IIII at the 4 o’clock position).  You’ve got the day and date indications taking up the subdials (no date window cutouts here), and then you’ve got the moon and globe taking pride of place at the 6 o’clock position.

Now, first glance, you’ll be thinking that you’ve got one of those hyper-awesome rotating globes going, but that’s not the case.  It’s a moon phase indicator (which is still awesome), just with a different method of displaying the phases than we’re used to (again, our hands-on review will help us suss out how well that works in person).

For the giveaway, we’ll be focusing in on the two rose gold models (one fully rose-gold tone, one two-tone).  As I mentioned above, one winner will be picked via the widget, and the other winner will be selected from having the most referrals (which is done via the contest widget as well).  To enter this contest, you need to do both of the following:

  1. Comment below as to what your favorite moon phase-equipped watch is
  2. Head on over to the giveaway page, and complete your entry

Good luck to you, and our thanks to Auguste Reymond for sponsoring the giveaway!  a-reymond.com

  1. I like the Patek 5146J, but unless I win one in an online contest in some parallel world where that could ever happen, I won’t ever get one ;).

  2. Glashütte Perpetual Calendar is my favorite. Clean, white dial, silver case, black leather is a really cool look.

  3. The double faced Patek Phillipe Sky Moon Tourbillon is the most gorgeous of them all however not for the faint hearted

  4. The Reverso from Jaeger-LeCoultre has a moon phase option and is my fantasy watch. The Auguste Reymond Cotton Club Q Orbital Moon is really gorgeous as well.

  5. I’ve never really looked into moon phase watches. This one is beautiful – I’ll have to take a closer look. I’ve been stumped on what to get the hubby for Christmas, suddenly I have ideas…..

  6. As a woman I like the Charleston Automatic But for my Husband I like the Auguste Reymond Cotton Club Q Orbital Moon. My husband would love the detailed globe since the globe reminds him of his fateful service

  7. My favorite moon phase-equipped watch has to be this one!!!! This watch is gorgeous. I used to have an old Raymond Weill moon phase but this one is stunning.

  8. The rolex Cellini is the one for me.if ihad the $$$ to but it. Class all the way.
But i would no say no to the, Two Tone Auguste Raymond, Cotton Club.

  9. If I have to say, the most intriguing moonphase watch is the fancy automatic Ball Trainmaster Moon Phase. It’s uncommon giant centered “earth shadow”-movement over the glowing moon (tritium gas tubes I believe), the vivid blue color of the dial, the textures, the neat hands which reminds me of some antique elaborate diapason… I simply love it. By the way not affordable for my musician pockets ahah!

  10. I really like the Schaumburg moon watch for an awesome moon phase. Hard to pick though, because I just like the complication in general. Something about it…
