Marketed as Luxury Swiss sport watches, Wryst makes some pretty crazy cool looking watches. For years I have always loved the look of the Wryst watches. I have never had the chance to see them in person but always hoped that they were as good in person as they are in the pictures. Finally I was able to get a Wryst Shoreline LX4 on my wrist and get a review done for you. I can say right now I already feel sad knowing I will have to send this back when I am done.
Simply put, I love the dial on the Wryst Shoreline LX4. Normally I am not in to chronographs, due to the fact that the dials tend to get too cluttered.  I do not feel that way at all with this one. The dial is clean and well balanced, with nicely polished hour makers that look great against the black face of the dial. The main three hands are the hour, minute, and chronograph seconds hand. There are three sub dials: chronograph sub-seconds at the 12 o’clock position, regular seconds at the 6 o’clock position, and chronograph minutes at the 9 o’clock. There is also a date window at the 3 o’clock. I do like that they did the date wheel in black. Powering all these little hands is a Swiss quartz chronograph Ronda 3540D.
The case on the Wryst Shoreline LX4 is made from 516L stainless steel; water resistance is decent 100 meters. At 45mm wide this is not small but the way the case is designed it does not look large at all on the wrist. The case is curves both on top and on the bottom. The curved top with its “K1” shatterproof crystal has a very modern look to it that is sure to draw attention from anyone who glances upon it. I also really like how the case curves on the bottom. When you strap this on to your wrist the case back conforms perfectly. The sides of the case protrude out each side which partially hides the screw down crown and chronograph pushers. Aside from giving it a cool modern look it also gives a much more balanced look.
The silicon strap on this Wryst Shoreline LX4 is one of the most comfortable straps I have worn. This one is very soft and smooth and unlike many silicon strap this one is not a lint magnet. This strap on that curved case make for a very comfortable fit. This fits so well you will hardly notice it on the wrist. The clasp on this is a standard pin and buckle signed clasp with lots of holes to fit any wrist.
Pretty sure my love for this watch is obvious. The look is so unique and the quality is excellent. The one sad part is that this Wryst Shoreline LX4 is limited and there are only 5 left and all the other Shoreline models are also limited. I am sure with some social media pressure they could be convinced to produce more of these. The price for the Wryst Shoreline is $807 USD with the silicon strap or for $833 you can also add a leather strap. Wryst also offers some other models with the same case style such as the Elements, Motors, Isle of Man, and an automatic movement version. Go check them out at wryst-timepieces.com.
