Black Friday deals are in full swing, and the watch companies out there do not want to be forgotten. We have already mentioned discounts from Lew & Huey and on the Tempest Viking V2, but here are a few more Black Friday and Holiday Deals designed to get a new watch on your (or a loved one’s) wrist. And if none of these watches tickle your fancy, you can also check out our 2015 WWR Holiday Gift Guide.
Brew Watch Company is offering a pair of deals on their first watch, a 25% discount and free shipping. The deal expires on Monday, November 30, so get over to the site if you want to snag one. I took a look at the watch when they were in pre-production and selling through Kickstarter, and I liked that they were not just another cookie cutter three hander. Use codes CHEER23 and FREESHIP to claim the discounts.
While we have not covered it on our site, the Oak & Oscar Burnham did make it into the gift guide as my pick for $1,500 to $2000, and our own Patrick reviewed it for ABTW. I love the sandwich dial and the color scheme of the watch, and it looks like this fledgling American watch brand is off to a great start.
For Black Friday, from midnight to midnight (central time), anyone who purchases an Oak & Oscar Burham will receive a free leather strap. Four of the six colors are still available (as of this writing), and the strap is an $120 value. The mustard and navy blue (left most and rightmost in the image below) are gone, but the other four options all go well with the dial. The 42mm automatic comes with a Horween strap and a navy blue nylon strap, so now you can get three distinct looks for the watch. oakandoscar.com
Torgoen makes attractive pilots watches with both automatic and quartz movements, and they have a sale on just about all their watches at the moment, with discounts of up to 40% off. Patrick reviewed the quartz GMT T05, which is now discounted to $252 from $360. If you are not a fan of the bracelet, there is both a stainless and black plated version on leather straps for $224.
If you want something a bit bolder, you might check out the Scorpion line, with watch, and watch sets, running from $308 to $578. Patrick also had this one for a hands on review, and thought it was something worth considering if you are looking for a tactical/special ops style watch. If neither of these are to your liking, there are plenty more styles available from the brand. torgoen.com
Touch of Modern runs deal all the time (sign up here if you are not already a member for a $10 credit), but they added a little sweetener for Black Friday. Until noon Pacific on Saturday, you get a $25 credit (probably on a future purchase) for every $100 you spend. For watches, the site is currently running discounts on Maurice Lacroix, Xetum, Vintage Rolex, and Vostok Europe (ending Saturday, noon Pacific) watches. They also have a sale going on for a variety of high end watches like Patek Philippe, Hublot, IWC, and Panerai. Keep in mind, many of these are one-only.
If those don’t entice you, there is their “Watch Aficionado” rolling collection, which features watches like the Egard Passages (Patrick’s review) for $499, a discount from $1,195. There are a lot of interesting watch deals on the site (and a bunch of questionable ones as well, to be honest), so check it out. touchofmodern.com
Maybe you don’t need a new watch (who are we kidding, you need a new watch, you just might not be willing to buy one), so how about a strap? Crown & Buckle has a holiday sale of 10 to 30% off all straps. The American Made Collection is 10% off, while the leather straps are 20% off and there is a discount of 30% on Nylon straps. crownandbuckle.com
Can’t find the strap you want at Crown & Buckle? Well, the folks over at Worn & Wound are running a sale as well, marking their straps down by 10%. When you check out, just use the code 2015BLACKWW to claim the discount. shop.wornandwound.com
