Welcome back to our regular feature, the Watch Video Rewind.  In this series, we bring to light videos we feel are interesting and worth sharing out with our readers.  Today, in honor of Valentines Day being yesterday, I am going to highlight a few videos that get into one of the reasons for my love of watches, namely beautifully crafted intricate machines, ‘watch porn’ if you will. Not that I can afford any of these timepieces.
The first video is of the Breguet 3795 Tourbillon & Perpetual Calendar. Slow motion, close up shots, sweeping camera movements… It is just like an NFL Films special about the wee machines we wear on our wrist.
Next up is the Bulgari Carillion Tourbillon DR3300 from our friends at A Blog To Watch. It can be yours for a mere $270,000.
Here, again from our friends at A Blog to Watch, is a video animating the parts and action of the Harry Winston Opus 12 watch movement.
And then there is this amazing bit of machinery, the Zenith Christophe Colomb, which incorporates a gyroscope to keep the movement horizontal, regardless of the orientation of the watch.
And with that bubble watch, I could not overlook MB&F, so I will close with the MB&F Horological Machine No. 6, the Space Pirate.
Finally, if you need a little something for the desk in the office to keep you occupied on conference calls, you could pick up the MB&F Starfleet Machine.
And with that final video, we’ll wrap up this weeks Watch Video Rewind. We scour the internet for watch related videos so you don’t have to, but if you come across a video that you’d like to see featured in this series, feel free to drop us a line. and don’t forget to enter our monthly contest. This month we are giving away a Trintec Zulu-03 watch.
