Last year, we brought you word of a new re-edition of the Girard-Perregaux Casquette Saint Laurent (you can see that here). That limited edition was popular, so they’re back with a new version. It’s name? Simply put, it’s the Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02.
What’s changed?
The first thing you’ll notice is the color scheme on the Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02. Last year, it was ceramic and titanium done up in all-black. This time around, the titaniun is clearly visible, with hues of silver being the order of the day.
What’s the same?
The overall shape and look of the watch, as well as how it tells the time. The Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02 relies on tubular LEDs that mimic the look of the same display tech used back in the 70s, in things like watches and calculators.
Inside, you’ve got the same movement as last year’s release, which gives you the time, day, and date, as well as a second time zone, a chronograph, and the ability to lock in a special “secret date”. I guess to count down to an important annual milestone?
How to get yours
If you want to get your own Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02, you’ll want to move quickly. Why? Only 200 pieces are being made.
